Public Nectar 2025 Wrap Up

2025 was our biggest year yet.

It was also a year of massive change. Meta rolled out Andromeda and GEM - completely overhauling how ads get delivered.

Google pushed AI Max and kept tightening the reins on search term reporting.

The old playbooks stopped working. Targeting got handed to the algorithms and creative became the main lever.

The brands that adapted scaled harder than ever whilst the ones that didn't got left behind.

Here's what happened for our clients this year:

WIN #1

Came to us doing solid revenue but were stuck losing money still every month. 50+ campaigns across Meta and Google fighting each other. No profit visibility. Classic case of busy without being efficient.

We stripped it all back. Rebuilt from scratch with a simplified structure, proper product segmentation, and a focus on real profitability.

Now 1 year later we achieved:

  • Scaled to £3M+ monthly revenue.
  • +215% revenue YoY
  • Very Profitable 5.8x MER

WIN #2

Competitors bidding on their brand terms. 20+ Google campaigns fighting each other. Meta propped up by 1-day view attribution that hid the real picture.

We rebuilt everything. Simplified structure. Proper attribution. And we produced a library of performance creative using UGC creators across different age groups, each tackling the real pain points their customers actually cared about.

We achieved:

  • Scaled to £1.5M+ monthly revenue
  • +152% revenue YoY
  • Reduced nCAC 49%
  • Tripled Gross Profits

WIN #3

Came to us after Google Ads hadn't worked with another agency. Couldn't hit the returns they needed to scale profitably.

We rebuilt their entire structure. Product-type segmentation, proper brand exclusions in PMax, and a layered Shopping approach that separated heroes from villains.

The Result:

  • Scaled to £489k in monthly sales
  • +137% revenue YoY
  • Profitable 9x MER
  • +165% First-Time New Customers

WIN #4

Summer is supposed to be dead for their industry. Sales drop, profit disappears.

Not this year.

We rebuilt their Google and Meta setup to handle seasonal pressure. Switched to optimising for incremental purchases instead of inflated view-throughs ruining the Meta pixel learning.

Their Search campaigns were reworked for laser focused ad targeting, achieving excellent quality scores and ad relevance. This allowed us to dominate above all competitors on search results as well as the already successful shopping campaign structure.

The Result:

  • Scaled to £300k monthly revenue
  • +59% revenue YoY
  • +92% net profit making July 2025 one of their most profitable months.

What Defined 2025 At Public Nectar?

Looking back at these wins, the same themes kept showing up.

  • Simplified structures win

Every single one of these brands came to us with bloated accounts. Too many campaigns. Competing ad sets. Algorithms getting pulled in 50 directions. We stripped them back, consolidated, and let the platforms do what they're built to do.

  • Profit over revenue

Vanity metrics nearly killed some of these accounts. View-through conversions making Meta look healthy when it wasn't. ROAS targets that looked good in dashboards but meant nothing in the bank. We rebuilt measurement around what actually matters.

  • Creative diversity is non-negotiable

The days of running 3-5 ads and hoping one wins are over. The brands that scaled this year fed the algorithm with volume and variety. Different angles, different formats, different hooks.

  • Preparation compounds

The biggest BFCM wins didn't happen in November. They happened because we spent months building audience data, testing creative, and creating infrastructure that could handle the busy period.

What This Means For 2026

The platforms are changing fast. Meta's Andromeda and GEM are fully live. Google's pushing AI Max. But the fundamentals that drove these results aren't changing.

Clean structures. Profit-focused optimisation. Diverse Creatives. Proper preparation.

The brands that win next year will be the ones that go in with a PLAN.
